Manufactured in a French factory specializing in energy nutrition for human consumption, the ingredients used in the recipe are of high quality and adhere to the manufacturing standards of human food.
ENERGY BOOSTER for pre-exertion and medium to long-distance efforts. The energy bar is composed of two main sources of energy for a combined and sustained effect:
A source of carbohydrates: providing quick energy to prevent hypoglycemia and boost performance rapidly.
A source of lipids: a significant calorie source that provides energy without burdening the digestive system, leading to a longer-lasting effect.
HYPOALLERGENIC
PRO TEAM LONG RUN is manufactured without proteins known to be most allergenic: no chicken, no beef, no milk proteins.
The protein sources used in the bar are: Plant-based proteins from soy and almonds. Animal-based proteins exclusively from eggs: eggs are highly hypoallergenic in dogs and are commonly used for dogs with dietary intolerances.
HYPERDIGESTIBLE
PRO TEAM LONG RUN is highly digestible because the bar is Gluten-free: suitable for dogs with digestive disorders. Rich in FOS (fructooligosaccharides): the date paste provides prebiotics that contribute to good digestive health. Legume-free: reduces the risk of flatulence. Additionally, the proteins selected for the recipe have a high biological value, making them highly digestible (egg whites, soy).

For a medium to long-duration activity, you can give your dog PRO TEAM LONG RUN BAR according to the recommendations in the table below. PRO TEAM LONG RUN BAR can be given approximately 20 minutes before the effort and/or in case of a decrease in energy during the effort and/or as a reward.

This energy bar is a quick source of energy for your dog. The nutrients that dogs quickly assimilate for energy are carbohydrates and fats. Proteins, essential to a dog’s nutritional needs, have a low energy yield and do not serve as a real energy source.
• The carbohydrate content is very high. Is it suitable for a dog?
Assimilable carbohydrates (excluding fibers) are a very good source of energy for dogs. They have the necessary enzymes for carbohydrate digestion (salivary and pancreatic amylase), allowing them to obtain glucose, the number one molecule used by all cells in the body to produce energy, essential during physical activity.
• From what age can I give the energy bar to my dog?
You can give an energy bar to your dog from the age of 3 months. This is the time for him to learn good social practices through positive educational methods. You can reward him with the energy bar, rich in fats and carbohydrates, providing essential energy during this growth period.
• Is there a risk of stomach upset if I give my dog an energy bar just before or during physical activity?
The risk of stomach dilation and torsion is quite low in dogs. Various factors contribute, such as breed (larger dogs being more susceptible), large meals, and intense exercise after eating. However, the energy bar weighs only 40g, so the risk of stomach dilation and torsion is almost nonexistent. You can use them without risk during physical activity.
• My 20kg dog consumed 10 bars at once. Is it dangerous, and what should I do?
What a hungry pup! Rest assured, there is no toxicity in ingesting a large quantity of energy bars. The only risk is that he might refuse the next meal. Are you certain he didn’t eat the packaging as well? If you notice any digestive issues such as vomiting or diarrhea, it is advisable to consult your veterinarian.
